Therapy Tailored to Your Individual Goals and Needs
Hi,
Thanks for being here.
My name is Racheal.
I am a clinically trained social worker with over a decade long experience working with adults, children, parents, and other caregivers. My areas of specialization are childhood trauma, complex trauma and all the effects of such trauma in people’s lives, including but not limited to, mental health issues, drug and alcohol issues, relationship issues and parenting issues.
I work collaboratively with my clients to increase their awareness to understand what has happened to them that makes them feel stuck in unhelpful and damaging patterns. I teach and support my clients to build capacity and resource them to break such patterns so they can adaptively and healthily manage social, emotional and relational challenges in their lives.
My work is grounded in clinical evidence. I have built a well-resourced clinical skill and knowledge base of contemporary mental health concepts and therapy modalities. I undertake thorough assessments to understand my clients’ goals and needs and facilitate most appropriate interventions based on clear therapeutic objectives.
I provide a space that prioritizes safety and respect to optimize learning, recovery and long-term health for my clients.
If you wish to work on issues that you struggle with or issues that make you feel stuck on patterns you wish to change, request a 30minute free session with me so we can discuss how we can work together to support you to make those changes.
My qualifications: Masters of Social Work (MSW) and Masters of Mental Health (MMH)
Relevant clinical trainings: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP).
Professional membership: Accredited Social Worker, by the Australian Association of Social Workers.
